Best In Class Opens 50th Location

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Founded with the mission to “Give the Gift of a Lifetime” to K-12 students nationwide, Best in Class Education Center has a lot to celebrate this school year. It recently opened its 50th location, Mill Creek, Washington, the education enrichment franchise announced this week.

With programs focusing on math and English, Best in Class has both opened in new states and expanded its reach in existing states over the course of the last year. It opened its Moorestown location in 2015.

“My wife Lisa and I opened our first Best in Class center in 1995 in the heart of Seattle, and since then, the business has grown rapidly through franchise partners and an excellent corporate team, all who have the same passion for education that we do,” Best in Class Founder and CEO Hao Lam said. “We have worked extremely hard and feel like this is a true accomplishment to hit this special milestone. We’ve helped hundreds of students around the country so far and look forward to supporting even more students in the years ahead.”

Lam fled Vietnam’s communist government in the late 1980s, according to a press release announcing the company’s expansion. He then worked tirelessly to put himself through school at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated at the top of his class with a BA in Mathematics. During that time, he tutored classmates through complex coursework and difficult exams – and that’s when a spark ignited. Lam knew that educating others was his ultimate passion in life.

After the 1995 opening in Seattle, Best in Class expanded into California, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Best in Class is confident it will continue to evolve into a leading nationwide brand. The current team behind Best in Class is continuously looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join the franchise family and ensure the country’s youth will excel academically.
