Mayor Phil Garwood and Deputy Mayor Victoria Napolitano will host a “Blessing of the Badges” ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Moorestown on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 7 p.m. First United Methodist Church is located at 446 Camden Avenue in Moorestown.

“I would like to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to Moorestown’s Mayor Phil Garwood and Deputy Mayor Victoria Napolitano for offering to host a Blessing of the Badges Ceremony for all first responders,” event organizer Conni Hare Murray said in an email. “When there is a fight, a burglary, shots being fired, a building on fire, a bad accident, or any other sort of horrific emergency, most people run from these horrors. Our first responders run toward them. They put their lives on the line daily to protect us from danger and help when there is an emergency.”
