Burglar Alarm Thwarts Potential Theft in Moorestown

The residents returned home to find nothing missing despite a side window having been pried open.

A burglar alarm thwarted a would-be thief on the 100 block of Pancoast Avenue Friday, Moorestown Police announced Saturday morning.

Police responded to an alarm that had been set off around 10 p.m. and found that a side window had been pried open. This set off the alarm, apparently deterring the burglar(s).

The residents, who were away, returned home and found that nothing appeared to have been taken. A Police K9 from Cinnaminson assisted in the search of the area.
