Cambridge Rehab & Healthcare Residents Delight in Student Art Exhibit

Residents of Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center are delighting in the “Art About Town” exhibit on display at the skilled nursing facility, showcasing the creative works of local kindergarten through 12th grade students. The intergenerational community initiative is through a partnership with the nonprofit Moorestown Arts Advocacy Council (MoorArts).

“We jumped at the chance to participate as a host of this special exhibit, supporting MoorArts and helping make art more accessible to all in our Cambridge community,” said Cambridge’s Jessica Saracen, director of community relations. “Our residents, their families and guests, and our staff are enjoying the opportunity to stop by our lobby, time and again, to view the student artwork. The talent and creativity at all ages is impressive!”

MoorArts, an all-volunteer organization, is dedicated to supporting the fine and performing arts in Moorestown Public Schools and throughout the community; it has awarded over 200 student scholarships for outstanding achievement in the arts. MoorArts’ “Art About Town” exhibits rotate quarterly through local businesses and public spaces.

Located at 255 E. Main Street, Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care. The 14-acre Cambridge campus sits in the heart of picturesque downtown Moorestown, 12 miles east of Philadelphia. In addition to the 170-bed skilled nursing facility, the campus offers assisted living at Cambridge Enhanced Senior Living.
