Video of Man Killing Geese at South Jersey Shopping Center Under Investigation
The man is shown stepping on a goose's neck after shooting it next to Costco in the Centerton Shopping Center.

Police have submitted a video of a man killing a goose in Mount Laurel to the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife after the video posted on Facebook sparked cries of animal abuse from outraged viewers.
Debbie Reindl, 57, of Mount Laurel, shot the video after she spotted the man standing on the goose’s neck after having shot it next to Costco in the Centerton Shopping Center, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Police were summoned to the scene, but said the man had a valid permit to kill geese. Reindl said they took the video and submitted it to the Division of Fish and Wildlife for further investigation, according to the report.

In the video, the man claims he has a federal license, and that farmers ask him to do it. He also said it was necessary to bleed out the goose after it gets shot.
As of Friday morning, the video had over 1,000 shares on Facebook and elicited responses such as “sick” and “this made me sick to my stomach.”

“If an animal has to flop around & bleed out to die from your shot, you shouldn’t be allowed to shoot a gun let alone permitted and hired to kill,” one Facebook user posted.
“Why is he doing that? and why is he carrying a gun around Costco?,” another said.
