The Evergreens Hosts Special Concert Featuring Members of The Philadelphia Orchestra

Hirono Oka, violinist and Burchard Tang, violist

The Evergreens, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Moorestown, recently held a dessert reception and special concert, featuring Hirono Oka, violinist for The Philadelphia Orchestra, Burchard Tang, violist for The Philadelphia Orchestra and musician Jeffrey Uhlig on piano. The performance was open to residents, staff and friends of The Evergreens. All who attended were able to meet and mingle with Oka, Tang and Uhlig prior to the concert.

“We strive to offer our residents the same cultural experiences within our walls as they might enjoy in the surrounding community at large,” said Doug Halvorsen, President and CEO of The Evergreens. “It was wonderful to have both Hirono and Burchard visit our campus for this special performance, and welcome them to join us again in the future.”
