Gas in Moorestown Drops Below $2 Ahead of Labor Day

If you’re planning on driving this Labor Day weekend, it may be easier on your pockets than you were expecting.

According to GasBuddy.com, which compiles and compares fuel prices at 130,000 gas stations across the nation, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in New Jersey has dropped to $2.15, as of Thursday.

And prices are still dropping, the website states.

In Moorestown, the cheapest gas is $1.99, at Citgo on both Route 38 at South Church Street and Mount Laurel Road at Route 38.

According to AAA-Mid Atlantic, the recent drop in gas prices to “sagging crude oil prices.”
