The Moorestown High School wrestling team’s season came to an end when three wrestlers qualified for the Region 7 tournament at Holy Cross this week, according to nj.com.
Max Rohan advanced all the way to the semifinals at 120 pounds before he suffered his first loss, according to nj.com.
After the fourth-seeded Rohan pinned No. 13 Kevin Schoch, of Cinnaminson, in one minute, 58 seconds, in the pre-quarterfinal round, he defeated No. 5 Joe Downing, of Collingswood, 7-2, in the quarterfinals.

However, he was unable to get past the top seed and eventual champion, Brandon Cray, of Steinert. Cray defeated Rohan, 12-5.
Rohan then fell to Cherry Hill West’s John Gibson, 4-3, in the wrestleback semifinals. Rohan finished the season with a record of 26-11.

Will Corbi entered the No. 126-pound tournament as the No. 4 seed. After receiving a pre-quarterfinal round bye, he fell to No. 5 Verlensky Joachim, of Bordentown, 9-7, in the quarterfinals. He finished the season with a record of 17-14.
Nate Dalmass’s season came to an end earlier in the week with a 4-3 loss to No. 9 Anthony Lattera, of Robbinsville, in the pre-quarterfinal round at 170. Dalmass was the No. 8 seed, and finished the season with a record of 26-10.
