Jewelry, Cash Stolen From Home in Moorestown

Moorestown Police are investigating the burglary of a home on the unit block of Revere Avenue that occurred when the homeowner was away during the day on Thursday.

It appears the perpetrator used a trash can to climb up, remove a screen and enter through an unlocked window.

An undetermined amount of cash and jewelry were stolen from the home.

A neighbor told police they heard a trash can being moved around 1:30 pm.
