- Broken and deteriorating curbs on Camden Avenue;
- Numerous unmarked bus stops;
- A bent sign at the bus stop in front of McDonald’s on Main Street;
- Bus stops in which there are no shelters, including the main stop on Main Street;
- A rusty, dilapidated mailbox owned by USPS on the corner of Camden Avenue and Lenola; and
- Holiday decorations in disrepair. This discovery comes one year after the Township fixed the decorations, and Boren suggested making needed improvements in the most cost effective way possible.
She also highlighted an area between McDonald’s and Manhattan Bagel referred to as “Pocket Park.”
McDonald’s set aside $4,500 for the parking lot between the two eateries. The area needs to be reviewed by the Township’s Landscaping Engineer, Boren said.

Councilwoman Victoria Napolitano, who led the formation of the commission in 2013, praised the group’s efforts following the presentation.
The commission was tasked with reviewing, analyzing, finding solutions and making recommendations to council on the issues and problems facing Lenola residents.
