LittleSPORT and the Red Cross Team Up to Save Lives

LittleSPORT, a creative learning and play center in Maple Shade, NJ is teaming up with the American Red Cross for the 11th year in a row to host an annual blood drive.   This year’s drive will be on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 2 PM to 7 PM at the LittleSPORT facility located at 121 E. Kings Highway in Maple Shade, NJ.  LittleSPORT is offering FREE play for any donors who come with their children, and will have coaches on staff to supervise children while their parents donate.  Appointments can be made by calling LittleSPORT at 856-234-6445 or by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and searching for Little Sport.

LittleSPORT’S founder, Jen Baker Leonard, started this great tradition of hosting an annual blood drive because her son required multiple blood transfusions shortly after birth.  She was so grateful that her son could receive these life-saving transfusions and decided to pay-it-forward here at LittleSPORT.  This is a cause that is near and dear to her heart and we at LittleSPORT are glad to continue supporting this wonderful event.  On October 19th, you have the opportunity to be a hero to someone and save their life by donating  one pint of blood.  Help share this invaluable gift with someone in need.
