Man Admits Attempted Sexual Assault Of Woman In Mt. Laurel: Cops
Donald Cramer Jr., 54, now faces 18 years in state prison after he admitted attempting to assault a woman near the I-295 ramp last year.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A Philadelphia man has pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted aggravated sexual assault of a woman near the I-295 ramp in Mount Laurel that took place last year, authorities announced.
Donald Cramer Jr., 54, now faces 18 years in state prison when he is sentenced on Dec. 10, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
On June 6, 2019, Cramer grabbed a woman who was walking along Route 73 in Mount Laurel and dragged her to a wooded area near the I-295 ramp, according to Coffina.

At the same time, John Bishop was driving by and witnessed the abduction, authorities said. The Burlington County resident immediately stopped his car, got out and went to help the woman.
He rescued the victim from Cramer, and was able to subdue him until Mount Laurel Township police arrived. Police then arrested Cramer, according to authorities. The victim was treated and released from an area hospital. Read more here: Good Samaritan Saves Woman From Sexual Assault On I-295: Police

“Mr. Bishop’s courageous actions are directly responsible for preventing further and more serious harm to the victim,” Coffina said. “He saw someone who was in trouble and took immediate action. He has set a fine example for all of us to step forward and help our fellow members whenever we can.”
