Moorestown Council to Consider Expansion of Drug-Free School Zones Monday Night

The council meeting begins with the workshop session at 7 p.m.

Moorestown Council will consider expanding the drug-free school zone in the township Monday night.

Council will consider an ordinance on introduction to repeal and replace the portion of the township charter that deals with drug-free school zones and adopt a new map when it meets Monday night, 7 p.m. at town hall.

The proposed ordinance calls for the inclusion of public housing facilities, public parks and public buildings to the ordinance that already covers school properties.
