Moorestown Friends School Students Recognized At Model UN

A total of 30 students from the Moorestown Friends Model UN team traveled to the Rutgers Model UN Conference.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Seven Moorestown Friends School students have been recognized for their performances at the Rutgers Model UN Conference that took place from Nov. 30 through Dec. 3, the school announced on Tuesday.

A total of 30 students from the Moorestown Friends Model UN team traveled with Model UN Advisor and History Department Chair Clark Thomson to the conference. The students who were recognized were from the Upper School.

Junior Vika Kulchyckyj and senior Calum Boone were recognized as Distinguished Delegates in the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific addressing informal economies and sustainable urban development.

Senior Anna Goula was recognized as a Distinguished Delegate in the Joint Crisis Committee: Saudi Arabian Council for Political and Security Affairs addressing the Yemeni Civil War.

Freshman Kayla Patel and junior Eli Gamber were recognized as Outstanding Delegates (earning a gavel) in the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) addressing adolescent development and educational innovations.

Juniors Jordan Brunner and Mariana Goldlust were recognized as Outstanding Delegates (earning a gavel) in the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime addressing HIV/AIDS amongst drug users and fraudulent medicines.
