MOORESTOWN, NJ - Moorestown High School has received a $1,198,000 grant for security upgrades from Burlington County, the board of education announced on Friday.

The money is expected to fund: security vestibules, visitor screening hardware and software, expanded and upgraded video camera systems, new interior door locks, and internal communication/emergency notification systems.

All improvements were identified by the Moorestown Public School District Administration, staff, the Moorestown Police Department and Garrison Architects. They were confirmed by USA Architects, a county-selected firm, during an audit and inspection of the high school facility and its current security measures.
