Moorestown Mall Stores Keep Community Engaged Amid Closure

Stores at the mall are offering activities for customers during the closure, and two restaurants remain open for take-out and delivery.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Stores at the Moorestown Mall are helping residents pass the time while the mall is closed and a stay in place in order is in effect due to new coronavirus.

Orangetheory Fitness is sharing 30-minute workouts with some famous coaches from around the world. Residents are invited to line up a half hour of tunes, clear away some space and get ready to sweat.Exercise routines can be found here.

Michaels Arts and Crafts, which moved to the mall earlier this year, is offering ideas for crafts and free activities for children and adults. Check the store’s website for ideas.

The Moorestown Mall has been closed since March 17, when Gov. Phil Murphy ordered that all indoor malls, amusement parks and indoor centers in New Jersey must close. As of Wednesday, Firebird’s and Yard House were still offering take-out and delivery.

Firebird’s is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for take-out and delivery by DoorDash. Food is available for take-out and delivery, but beer and wine is available for take-out only and requires proper identification.

Yard House is open for take-out from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
