A large amount of watches and jewelry were stolen along with a small safe from a home on the 700 block of Yorktown Lane, the Moorestown Police Department announced Tuesday morning. The burglary was reported by a resident who made the discovery Monday night. Entry was gained by forcing open a window. Anyone with information is asked to contact Moorestown Detectives at 856-914-3092 or detectives@moorestownpd.com Residents are urged to contact the Police Department promptly if they see suspicious activity at 856-234-8300. Call 911 if you see a crime in progress.

The burglary was discovered Monday night.
