Moorestown School District Ranked 11th Safest In New Jersey

The rankings were recently released by Niche.com.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — If your child attends school in the Moorestown Public School District, you can feel pretty safe about their day. The district ranked 11th in Niche.com’s list of the safest school districts in New Jersey. It ranked No. 60 nationally, and was the top ranked district in Burlington County.

The rankings were based on student and parent ratings of health and safety, area crime rates, and rates for expulsion, suspension, and school related arrests. Read more on how this ranking was calculated.

In addition to an A rating for health and safety, the Moorestown Public School District was on the lower end of districts reporting incidents involving weapons in 2016-17, with no school reporting more than two incidents involving a weapon last year.

Moorestown consistently ranks high on lists compiled by Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of consumer rankings. It has been ranked the 13th best school district in New Jersey, and the 19th best place to teach in the state.
