Moorestown Wrestler Set For Girls Tournament

MOORESTOWN, NJ - A wrestler from Moorestown High School will participate in the inaugural regional tournament this weekend.

Anj`elina Falla Figueroa is one of 11 girls who will pursue a title at 185 pounds in the South Jersey regional tournament, which is set for Sunday, Feb. 17, at Red Bank Regional High School, according to nj.com. The top three finishers will advance to the state tournament in Atlantic City in two weeks. The North Jersey regional tournament is also set for Sunday in Red Bank.

Timber Creek's Tiyanna Hooker is the top seed after she won the 185-pound title at the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame tournament in January.
