New Moorestown Mayor, Deputy Mayor Sworn In
They took the oath of office during Monday night's reorganization meeting.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Manny Delgado and Stacey Jordan have switched roles on Moorestown Council. Jordan was sworn in as Moorestown’s mayor during Monday night’s reorganization meeting at town hall, the Moorestown Republicans announced.
She was elected to her second stint as mayor with a 5-0 vote by the rest of council. Her first run as mayor was in 2013, when she became the first female mayor in the township’s history.
Jordan succeeds Delgadro, her 2014 running mate, as mayor. Delgado made history in 2017 as Moorestown's first mayor of Hispanic descent. On Monday night, he became Moorestown’s first deputy mayor of Hispanic descent.

Jordan and Delgado were both sworn in by Moorestown Municipal Court Judge Lois Downey.
Jordan and Delgado will continue to serve alongside Councilwoman Victoria Napolitano, who made history as the youngest female mayor in state history in 2015; Councilman Mike Locatell; and Councilwoman Lisa Petriello, the Council's lone Democrat.

Jordan enters her eighth year on council. She was first elected in 2010, alongside Chris Chiacchio. She was re-elected in 2014, when she ran alongside Delgado. Both times, Jordan was elected with an over 1,000 vote margin over her Democrat opponents. Jordan is married to her husband, A.J., and is the proud mother of four children.
Jordan, who previously served as a Burlington County Freeholder and as a member of the Moorestown Library Board, has been an active member of the Moorestown Home and School Association, Girl Scouts of the South Jersey Pines, March of Dimes, Burlington County Special Services School, and the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown.
