1 Dead In Motorcycle Crash After Police Pursuit In Burlington County: AG
A passenger is also in critical condition after the crash. Police were trying to stop the motorcycle in connection with an investigation.
PEMBERTON, NJ — A motorcyclist died last week after hitting another vehicle while police were trying to stop the motorcycle, said the New Jersey Attorney General's Office.
A Pemberton Township officer attempted to pull the motorcycle over during the afternoon of April 20 in connection with a criminal investigation, AG Matthew J. Platkin said on Tuesday.
While driving on County Road 687 West, the motorcycle hit another vehicle near the intersection of Davis Street, Platkin said. The crash resulted in the death of the driver and severe injuries to the passenger, said Platkin.

The other vehicle was not connected to the investigation, Platkin added.
The crash occurred shortly after 5:16 p.m.

Platkin's office will investigate the motorcyclist's death, as it occurred during an encounter with a law enforcement officer. Officials have not identified the driver or the passenger as of Monday afternoon.
