Return Unwanted/Expired Drugs to Moorestown Police This Fall
A drug takeback event takes place in the police department's parking lot Sept. 26.

The Moorestown Police Department will be accepting unwanted/expired prescription and over-the-counter medications as part of the 2015 DEA Operation Take Back NJ initiative in the police department’s parking lot on Saturday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The parking lot is located at 1245 N. Church Street, Suite 2.
A drug disposal box will be available for residents to deposit their medications. Residents can dispose of medications either directly into the box or in the original packaging. However, if a resident chooses to dispose of the medication in its original container, they are advised to remove the prescription label if it contains any personal identifying information.
Liquid products, such as cough medicine, should remain sealed in their original container, with the cap sealed on tight to prevent any leakage.
