RV to Host Second Annual Diversity in Education Job Fair April 19

Mount Holly, N.J. – Rancocas Valley Regional High School will host the second annual Diversity in Education Job Fair on Wednesday, April 19, 4-6:30 p.m. The district is once again bringing schools from throughout the region together to meet qualified, driven and diverse candidates for a range of open positions, both full- and part-time.

Representatives from more than 25 schools in the region will attend, accepting resumes and cover letters for teaching positions in various grades and subject areas, as well as roles in administration and for bus drivers, counselors, custodial staff, nurses, paraprofessionals, social workers, school psychologists, technology specialists and more. Some schools will conduct on-the-spot interviews.

The in-person fair runs 4-6:30 p.m. in the RVRHS main gymnasium. An optional introduction to RVRHS and a meet and greet with the district’s administration is open to candidates from 4-4:30 p.m. in the RVRHS Media Center/Library.

“This job fair was well-received last year by both candidates and participating schools, and we aim to build on that success,” said RVRHS Superintendent Christopher Heilig, Ed.D. “At RV, we continue to seek individuals who can contribute to our vibrant school environment and help us grow an appreciation of diversity through the educational experience we provide.”

RVRHS spearheaded the Diversity in Education Job Fair after prioritizing the need to attract and retain teachers, counselors and school leaders reflective of its student body and the communities that surround the regional district. This became a goal within the district’s current Equity Strategic Plan to create a more equitable, inclusive and supportive school community.
