Teens Assaulted Clerk, Robbed 3 Stores: Maple Shade Police

Two teenage boys face robbery and theft charges for three separate robberies at Maple Shade businesses, township police said.

MAPLE SHADE, NJ — Two juvenile boys face charges after they brandished weapons and assaulted a store clerk while robbing Maple Shade businesses, police said.

Police charged a 16-year-old from Maple Shade and a 15-year-old from Willingboro with robbery and theft in connection with three robberies this spring, an advisory said.

The juveniles robbed Domino’s Pizza (290 South Lenola Road) on April 3, Papa John’s Pizza (479 Route 38 West) on May 6, and 73 Food Mart (2891 Route 73 South) on June 14, police charged.

Police said the teens displayed weapons during the first two robberies, and assaulted the store clerk at the Food Mart.

Both have had hearings at the Burlington County Superior Court, Family Division, where they were charged as juveniles. Police said both were released pending future court appearances, and are on electronic monitoring.

These juveniles are also accused of committing a trio of robberies in Cherry Hill during the same time period, according to Maple Shade Township police. Patch has reached out to Cherry Hill Police for more information.
