Moorestown, NJ -- Here’s a look at some upcoming events at the Moorestown Library:

  • Tips From the Master Gardener: Historically Informed Garden Design With Marilyn Fishman, Wednesday, April 13, 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Click here to register.
  • Dances by Diane: Diane Alcavage will teach Swing dancing on the following Fridays, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m.: April 1, 15, 22 and 29, and May 6. Alcavage is an Arthur Murray trained dance instructor with over 20 years experience in American Style Ballroom and Latin dances. She specializes in teaching social dancing for beginners. The series is free, but registration is required and can be done by clicking here.
  • Opera Roundtable: Opera aficionado Bill Holt will host discussions of the Metropolitan Opera’s upcoming HD simulcasts as part of an Opera Roundtable on the following dates: March 31, April 14 and April 28, 7 p.m. each night. On March 31, he will discuss Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly”; on April 14, it’s Donizetti’s “Roberto Devereux”; and on April 28, he will discuss Strauss’ “Elektra.” The roundtable is free, and no registration is required.
  • Football Talk: ESPN correspondent and Moorestown resident Sal Paolantonio will discuss “Life After Chip: The $187 million bet on Howie Roseman” on Tuesday, April 12, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. He will share his thoughts and take questions on the latest developments involving the Philadelphia Eagles.   • Iran Loves Jazz: In February of 2015 Jair-Rohm Parker Wellsperformed in Iran as a member of Bob Belden's ANIMATION - a Grammy Award nominated jazz band. They were the first Jazz group to perform in the Islamic Republic of Iran since the Iranian Cultural Revolution of 1979. He will share his photos and experiences on Monday, April 11, 7 p.m. To register, click here.
