
Give back while you shop at the Whole Foods in Marlton on Community Giving Day, an event that benefits the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties’ Camp No Worries. The event takes place Wednesday, September 23 from7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Whole Foods Market located at 940 Route 73 North in Marlton.
On Community Giving Day, otherwise known as 5% Days, Whole Foods in Marlton will donate 5% of that day’s net sales to YMCA Camp No Worries – a free camp for children who are dealing with the a diagnosis of cancer in some way, whether they are patients, survivor’s siblings or bereaved siblings. Funding for the camp depends on the generosity and financial support of community organizations, businesses, foundations and individuals to provide each camper a free week of summer camp.
Shoppers participating in Community Giving Day simply shop and purchase their normal groceries at the Whole Foods in Marlton and Whole Foods will take care of the rest. For more information, contact Pam Hall at 856-231-9622 x232 orpamh@ymca-bc.org.
