Cops: 'Tumultuous Behavior' Led To Arrest of Morris Township Man

Resident charged with disorderly conduct.

Morris Township police say that "tumultuous behavior" led, on March 1, to the arrest of a local man.

According to police, Patrolman Brian Markt was conducting an investigation on Sherman Place when he encountered Thomas Cassidy, 54 of Morris Township. Police say that Cassidy, "purposely caused, or recklessly created, the risk of public annoyance, inconvenience or alarm by engaging in tumultuous behavior."  

Cassidy was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and brought to Morris Township Police Headquarters. He was processed and later released.
