Liquid Church's 'Water Run' 5K to Shut Morristown Streets Saturday
Detours and congestion expected between 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
A handful of roads in Morristown will be closed and others impacted by traffic for a race being hosted by one of the area’s most popular churches.
Liquid Church of Morristown will host its annual 5K “Water Run” from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30. As a result, road closures and detours will be established on Speedwell Avenue, Sussex Avenue, Early Street, and Mills Street, according to Morristown Police.
The closures will affect traffic flow in the surrounding areas as well, and delays and congestion are expected to begin around 10:45 a.m., police said. All detours should be removed by 1:30 p.m., police said.

The start and finish line will be on Speedwell Avenue in the area of Headquarters Plaza.
