Arthur’s Tavern in Morris Plains is pulling out all the stops for festivities during Parade Day weekend (Saturday March 14 through Sunday March 15) and on Saint Patrick’s Day (Tuesday March 17).

Here’s Arthur’s Tavern’s schedule of activities, treats and the special Saint Patrick’s celebration menu for these two weekends:

· The Arthur’s Tavern building will be decked out in Irish colors and hundreds of balloons. On Saint Patrick’s Day, the traditional red-checkered tablecloths will be replaced with festive Kelly green linens.

· Along with the regular menu, feast on some of Arthur’s “classic” Saint Patrick’s Day favorites: Arthur’s corned beef platters served with boiled cabbage, carrots, new potatoes and freshly grated horseradish; Irish lamb stew -- tender chunks of lamb roasted and simmered with Guinness Stout, leeks, potatoes and carrots served in a bread bowl to absorb the delicious gravy; freshly baked soda bread with sweet cream butter; homemade split-pea soup and a variety of new specials such as The Dubliner Bacon Cheeseburger– topped with slices of smoked bacon and Irish Dubliner cheese . Give in to some special desserts including creamy dark chocolate truffle cake laced with Bailey’s Irish Cream and Arthur’s Famous Irish Coffee.

· Tuesday March 17th, dance to the Kevin McCardle Band’s traditional Irish tunes and some rock ‘n roll (get there early as the restaurant becomes Standing Room Only after 3 p.m.). Kevin starts at 6 pm, Between sets, expect visits from local bagpipers and Irish Dancing girls.

· Sip some “perfectly-poured” Guinness Stout or Arthur’s famous Irish Coffee with green sprinkles. No green beer served here!

· And -- as a remembrance, treat yourself to a free T-shirt that boasts “I survived Saint Patrick’s Day at Arthur’s Tavern
