Police Rookies Take Oath in Morris Township
Both have worked on probationary basis since June 27.
At Wednesday's meeting of the township committee, Jeremiah "Reggie" Crowley and Jenna Landrigan were sworn in as the newest members of the .
Chief Dennis Reilly introduced the pair, saying he was "grateful to have people of this caliber join our ranks." He explained that the new officers were both "alternate route officers," meaning that they paid their own way through the police academy in hopes of joining a local police department.
Ptl. Crowley was third in his class at the Morris County Police Academy with a 96.11 grade point average. He is also a trained EMT and holds an associates degree in criminal justice. His wife Shannon held the bible as he was sworn-in.

Ptl. Landrigan was a squad leader and runner up for the PT award at the Essex County Police Academy and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. Landrigan is a former fitness instructor who participates in marathons. Her mother held the bible as she was sworn in.
