NFL stars to coach special needs students; host
charity reception
The Calais
Foundation’s, 3rd Annual Touchdown for Success will kick off
Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with a full day of fun events to spread awareness and
raise money for children with special needs. The
festivities will take place on The Calais School campus (45 Highland Avenue,
Whippany, NJ 07981) and showcase Calais’s innovative student
programming, success stories and network of supporters. Touchdown
for Success will be presented in two parts – The Calais School Student Field
Day (9am) and Touchdown for Success Reception & Open House (6pm) with each component providing a unique opportunity to see the impact of The Calais Foundation within the special needs community. Touchdown
for Success will be hosted by Super Bowl Champion and NY Giants Broadcaster, Roman Oben and honor William H. Claxton, ESQ. with the McClafferty Award for Mr. Claxton’s long-term financial and volunteer support of children with special needs. The event will also
feature a student field day with The GridIron Gang, Farm to Table food
selections curated by The Calais School Culinary Arts Program, Merlin’s Kids Therapeutic
Service Dogs, athlete meet and greets, live auction and fun activations. Touchdown for Success is The Calais Foundation’s main source of annual funding for programs, services, and capital
improvements.
