A video (see below) pays tribute to the Warren Hills, N.J. quarterback who died after he was injured in a football game.

Evan would have loved this.
In the days after 17-year-old Evan Murrayās death, one parent who knew the star quarterback took to YouTube to pay tribute to one of the greatest people they know (see video below).
Lauren Case, who said she is one of the wiveās of Evanās football coaches, said she put this video together ābecause, like many, I just donāt know what to do in ... this time of heartache and tragedy.ā

āI made this video using pictures I could gather from social media accounts,ā she said. āIf there are pictures/songs you would like added, I am more than happy to extend this tribute video. Please let me know, and please accept my deepest condolences to all of Evanās loved ones.ā
Murray came off the field under his own power Friday night after being hit in the backfield. The three-year quarterback was examined on the sideline and was later taken to Morristown Medical Center. There. he was pronounced dead.

Morris County Medical Examiner Ronald Suarez, M.D., stated the cause of death was a laceration of the spleen. Suarez determined Murrayās spleen was abnormally enlarged, making it susceptible to injury. āThere was no evidence of head trauma or heart disease,ā Suarez said. The manner of death was accidental.
In the days since the communityās loss, a GoFundMe page has pulled in about $50,000, and an online petitions has garnered nearly 3,000 signatures in a call to the Warren Hills Regional High School District to rename its football field the Evan Murray Memorial Field.
Students went back to school Monday after grief counselors were made available throughout the weekend.
Murrayās death caught national attention, bringing well wishes and condolences from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and a handful of professional athletes from the sports world.
