2 Fatal Motorcycle Crashes In Morris County, Victims ID'd

Two fatal motorcycle crashes happened on a N.J. highway this weekend. Four died in motorcycle crashes in New Jersey this weekend.
On Sunday, a fatal crash happened on Interstate 80 near mile marker 28, closing eastbound lanes, police said.
Luis Santana, 20, of Union City, was traveling east at 4:57 p.m. when his Yamaha motorcycle traveled off the road tat mile-marker 28.2, State Police spokesman Lt. Ted Schafer said.

Santana's motorcycle struck a guardrail and he was thrown from the bike, Schafer said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also on Sunday, at approximately 6:41 p.m., a 58-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash that occurred on Ridge Road in the area of Holland Mountain Road in Jefferson.

The initial investigation revealed Joe Rivera of Stockholm was traveling west on Ridge Road, operating a 2007 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, when the vehicle left the roadway striking a guide rail.
The crash is still under investigation by police. Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday morning, an accident involving a pedestrian on I-80 eastbound closed three right lanes before Exit 57/Rt 19 in Paterson.
