Register Online at www.redcrossnnj.org. With CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, you will learn to:
- Respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants
- Recognizing the signs and symptoms of cardiac emergencies
- Providing care to victims of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Use an AED on adult and child victims of cardiac arrest
- Use personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading
ALL participants must register online. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably! You will receive a Participant's Manual and a Resuscitation Mask. After demonstrating the skills and completing a written exam, you will receive an American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider, valid for 2 years!
Please note: the Northern New Jersey Chapter has a strict NO REFUND policy. Be sure to choose which training event to attend carefully, and if you must transfer out of the class there will be $20 transfer fee - but you must request to transfer at least 72 hours before the class.
