Overturned Dump Truck Causes Major Delays On Route 80 Wednesday

WHARTON, NJ — An overturned dump truck has closed all lanes of Route 80 Wednesday afternoon, 511nj.org said.

The overturned truck and debris on the roadway caused the closure at 12:27 p.m. The accident was on Route 80 westbound at Exit 34; during a total road closure, the traffic stretched back to Exit 42 in Parsippany.

At one point there were delays of an hour. The Department of Transportation told Patch it should be clear by the evening commute, but there could be residual delays.
