• Revolutionary Army's March Through Morris Co. To Be Honored With Marker (patch.com) — Morristown residents can attend a free dedication of a new New Jersey State Historical Marker at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, honoring French troops' 1781 march through Morris County. The ceremony, hosted by the Morris County Park Commission, runs Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and highlights Morristown's role along the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route toward Yorktown.
