Cops Search For Newark Teen Missing For 11 Days

A 16-year-old is missing and police are asking for the public's help in finding her.

The teen, 16-year old Kelly Gomez of Newark, who was reported missing from the city's East Ward on Saturday, March 17.

Kelly is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has a light complexion, brown eyes and light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black Adidas zippered, hooded sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, a white t-shirt, white Adidas sneakers and was carrying a black purse, police said.

While police are actively searching for Kelly, the department needs the public’s assistance in quickly locating her and returning her to his family, police said..
