Fire At School In Newark; Probe Into Cause Continues (UPDATED)
A fire broke out at a Newark school on Monday morning, reports say.
NEWARK, NJ — Investigators continue to probe for a possible cause of a fire that broke out at a Newark school early Monday morning, authorities say.
Newark firefighters arrived at Wilson Avenue School around 3 a.m., finding the blaze isolated to a single, unoccupied classroom, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
The fire was put under control at 5 a.m.

The Department of Public Safety's arson unit is investigating the cause and origin of the fire. No additional information was available, authorities said.
The first day of school for students in the Newark Public School District is Sept. 5.
