Man Falls From High-Rise Roof, Dies In Newark

A man died after falling from the roof of a high-rise in New Jersey, police said.

Emergency responders rushed to 9 Summit St. after receiving reports of a person who jumped from the roof at around 4 p.m., according to RLS Media.

Crews arriving at the scene found the unconscious and unresponsive man lying on the ground suffering severe injuries, according to the report. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not immediately known if the victim fell or jumped from the roof at this time.
