Manhunt For Mother-Daughter Duo Who Jumped Brain-Injured Woman
The woman was bleeding "about her brain." A widespread manhunt is underway after Newark incident.

A manhunt continues more than a week after a mother and her daughter teamed up to beat up a New Jersey woman, police announced this week.
While police are actively searching for the suspects, police seek the public’s assistance in quickly "locating and removing him from our streets. This investigation is ongoing."
Police are looking for 29-year-old Alicia Breland and 49-year-old Jacqueline Breland, both of Hillside, in connection to an aggravated assault incident that occurred in Newark on Wednesday, May 30.

The victim reported that she had been assaulted by the suspects at a Newark residence shortly before 9 p.m. She was transported to the Beth Isreal Medical Center for treatment where doctors found that she was bleeding internally "about her brain," police said.
Detectives from the 5th Precinct have gathered sufficient evidence identifying both Brelands as suspects in this aggravated assault and applied for arrest warrants for their arrest.
