Newark Authorities Issue 3 Local Businesses Summonses
Newark city officials issued 3 businesses summonses during a code enforcement operation on Pulaski, Adams and Chestnut streets.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark city officials issued three local businesses summonses during a code enforcement operation conducted on Friday, authorities say.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the following businesses received summonses due to code violations:
- Boca Leuca, 92 Pulaski Street
- Marrecife Marisqueria, 179 Adams Street
- Cafe Bocage, 406 Chestnut Street
The businesses were issued three summonses each for not having a certificate of occupancy, for having an expired business license and having no trade permit. Cafe Bocage was also issued a summons for not having a sale of cigarette license, officials stated.

The operation was conducted by the Business Task Force, comprised of members of the Newark Police and Fire Divisions along with the city’s Code Enforcement Division and Health Department.
