Newark Makes List Of '25 Fastest-Growing Cities For Small Businesses'

NEWARK, NJ — New Jersey’s largest city, Newark, is also a good place to start a small business, according to a recent study.

OpenPhone, a startup working on communication solutions for small businesses, recently released a list of “America’s 25 fastest-growing cities for small businesses.” Read the full report and methodology here.

Newark ranked 16th-highest on the list. The chart-toppers were Apex, North Carolina (#1), Bentonville, Arkansas (#2) and Folsom, California (#3).

  • City population growth rates
  • Business survival rate by state
  • Small business funding
