Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly robbed the McDonald's restaurant on Broadway at gunpoint.

Newark, NJ – Authorities are searching for a man who robbed the McDonald’s restaurant on Broadway in Newark at gunpoint on Wednesday.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the robbery took place around 9 a.m. After robbing the business, the suspect was last seen running south on Broadway towards Romaine Place, authorities said.

“It is unknown at this point exactly how much money was taken, but the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous,” police stated in a news release.
