Newark Woman May Lose Legs After NJ Transit Bus Strike: Police
A NJ Transit bus hit the woman as she was attempting to cross the street, authorities say.

Newark, NJ – A Newark woman is likely to lose both of her legs after being struck by a NJ Transit bus on Saturday, authorities stated.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the bus was attempting to turn from Prospect Avenue onto Heller Parkway when it struck the woman as she was crossing the street around 1:30 p.m.
The woman – who is around 60-years-old – was listed in critical condition as of Saturday, police said.

The bus driver remained at the scene, NJ.com reported.
