NJ Turnpike Pot Bust Reveals $250K Of Heroin: Police
NJ troopers reportedly saw an Essex County man smoking pot at a Turnpike service area in Woodbridge. And that's when they found the heroin.

WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, NJ — New Jersey state troopers seized more than 25,000 doses of heroin valued at about $250,000 from an Essex County man after allegedly catching him smoking marijuana in his parked car at a NJ Turnpike service area in Woodbridge Township last week.
According to the NJ State Police, detectives allegedly spotted Aaron Williamson, 27, of Irvington, smoking marijuana in his parked Ford Fusion at the Thomas Edison Service Area around 2 p.m. on Friday.
After searching his car, police found 25,575 doses of packaged heroin, 50 pills of oxycodone valued at $1,000 and eight grams of marijuana.

Authorities charged Williamson with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone, and possession of marijuana, and transported him to Middlesex County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
