Power Outage At Newark Airport Disrupts Friday Commute
Some TSA checkpoints may see extended passenger screening times, officials said. Passengers should allow extra travel time.

NEWARK, NJ — A power outage disrupted the daily commute at Newark Airport on Friday morning, authorities said.
Airport officials reported a “power disruption” in Terminal B around 9 a.m.
“Please check with your airlines for delays,” officials stated. “Allow extra travel time.”

Temporary power was restored less than an hour later, but some areas may still be impacted, airport officials said.
