Small Fire Extinguished At Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

NEWARK, NJ — A small fire took place outside the emergency department of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center around 9:43 p.m. on Monday. Emergency responders extinguished the minor conflagration immediately, hospital administrators said.

There were no injuries to hospital staff or patients. There was no damage to the building, a Newark Beth Israel Medical Center spokesperson said.
