WATCH: Man Caught On Camera Robbing N.J. Bank
The suspect may have made off with less than $1,000, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are seeking a man who robbed the Crown Bank on Ferry Street in Newark on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place around 5 p.m., when the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note. After receiving money, the suspect then left the bank and was last running east on Ferry Street.
The exact amount is unknown although it is believed to be less than $1,000, police said.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police are urging anyone who knows the suspect’s whereabouts or has information about this robbery to utilize the department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 877 NWK-TIPS (877 695-8477) or NWK-GUNS (877 695-4867).
