Superintendent Roger León announced that all Newark public schools and the central office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26 due to the inclement weather.
The weather isn't only impacting public schools; all Great Oaks Legacy Charter School locations are also closing on Monday due to the snow.

In New Jersey, commercial vehicles were banned from the state's highways as of 12:01 a.m. Sunday. Only the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway are exempted from that ban, state transportation officials said.
