5 People Slept at Lord Stirling School Sunday Night
The elementary school was turned into an emergency homeless shelter in the storm, when the city's regular shelter became full.

New Brunswick, NJ - Five people stayed at Lord Stirling Community School Sunday night, a New Brunswick city spokeswoman said, after the elementary school was turned into an emergency homeless shelter during the weekend storm.
New Brunswick’s regular homeless shelter/soup kitchen, Elijah’s Promise on Nielson Street, was full Saturday night, with 42 people. So Lord Stirling was used as well, city officials said: Nine people stayed at Lord Stirling Saturday night, and five on Sunday.
All New Brunswick schools were closed Monday, Jan. 25, but will likely re-open Tuesday.
